Who say's giving gifts is only on Christmas, and doing charity works is usually done on month of December. Every year i see to it that i could do some charity work, whether it is a company outreach, my backpacking group or any invites that i could share some of my blessings. All of those outreach activities i've been with was actually happen and done when month of December comes. This is the very first time, im doing it different month. The Love Month......that's why i said gift giving in the month of love.....^_^
Precious Heritage Children's Home
The Orphanage's History:

Precious Heritage Children's Home is a Social Welfare and Development Agency (SWDA) registered at Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) established for the purpose of helping the orphans, abused, neglected and street children in Metro Manila. Precious Heritage started in April 2006 as an extension ministry of Pastor & Mrs. Joel and Levy Santos after the establishment of Evangelical Christian Church of Manila in 2001 and EL Ministries International, Inc. in 2004. They started the ministry after 15 years of ministering in Sta. Cruz, Manila as urban poor missionaries and saw many children in the slum areas dying of sickness, hunger for lack of nutrition and proper medication due to poverty. After a long period of earnest prayer, the desire to have a permanent place for the program realized when the Lord helped them acquired a house and lot offered on installment basis and of minimum price. Precious Heritage Children's Home started to operate in Sta. Rosa St. Purok 2, Cupang, Antipolo City, just one-hour drive from Metro Manila.

Precious Heritage Children's Home is a grassroots ministry providing housing, food, clothing, medical care, education and love to these children to give them brighter hope in the future. Pastor Joel and Levy Santos had started the program with 7 children. Feeding, clothing, caring and providing Christian education to these blessed children take the grace of God, the prayers and resources of concerned individuals.

In every year, me "lakwatserong tatay" always participate such activities like this. To share some of my blessings and give some of my time to take care of this kids. Seeing kids smiles when we were there is such a rewarding experience because it shows the kids real emotions. Even though they don't have their own real families, we just replaced it for few moments and just staying in this kind of institutions. I do really hope, that there are so many kind hearted individuals doing this such kind of activities. There are no chosen days, months, or year that you could do this activity. And one important thing that is really nice in doing this activity is when you see all of the kids smiles........^_^........
