Mount Sea Resort Outing

by lakwatserong tatay

A quite late summer vacation by our group held at Mount Sea Resort Hotel & Restaurant. We grabbed a day tour of corporate package...and then it was scheduled....July 22, last year....actually this was one of my many backlog draft stories.....hehehehe....
Mount Sea Resort Hotel
Here's a quick history of Mount Sea Resort....taken from their website...

In 1994, a solid group of Filipino and foreign investors launched a condo-type resthouse manned by first-rate hoteliers. The place, the very first Mount Sea Resort (MSR), became a must-visit vacation spot in Rosario, Cavite. Soon, MSR expanded to include a family pool with playground-type slides and other areas such as an a concert park.
For years, MSR had established exceptional hotel and restaurant service, giving in an al-fresco styled resort embellished with splendid facilities. The amalgamation of all these elements undeniably gives guests reasons to relax and enjoy an uninhibited celebration of life.
Top-billed by the metro corporate segment, the Mount Sea Resort Group gears up to meet the needs of international clientele and further upgrade its system, control, and operations. The MSR Group also aims to open-up the company as an umbrella for future properties – hotels and resorts that reflect the quintessence of Filipino hospitality and world-class service.
Even at the turn of the century, Mount Sea Resort’s unmatched service aided with genuine CaviteƱo hospitality lives. It continues to stand-proud, meeting the challenges of  today’s discerning guest and showcasing only the best the Philippines has to off.

So lets go back to my story.....being part of the MQA outing committee, i had the privilege to go first to the place and stay their for overnight...of course for free.....thanks ms. anne....hehehehe...
Hotel Lobby
We arrived at the resort quite late afternoon after battling with other passenger going to Cavite via Cavitex, a new express highway if you are going to the part of Rosario, Cavite....i'm the one who initiated to do commute, because i would really love to commute and much cost efficient trip....as i remember, i ask my cotrippers that day...are you ready to ride a small non-ac bus...full packed with passengers....as they answered...alright...we proceed...hehehehe....sorry i wasn't able to take photos while inside the bus....(malamang alam nyo...grabe sa puno tapos nakatayo pa kami sa buong biyahe...hehehehe)

Hotel Restaurant

some of the nipa huts..
As part of the advance team...here is our room accomodation for four, it was just a quite small room, just really fit for 4 persons, it has it own bathroom, cable tv, closet and air conditioned room.
our hotel room...
One of the advantages being part of this advance team was, we have the chance to go swimming by night and enjoy the hotel pool as it was only used by hotel guest....and being one of them was great....here are some of my shots while we had our night swimming....
hotel pool slide...

the hotel pool

the advance mqa crew....
And one disadvantage of being part of the advance team is....your responsible of all the set-ups for activities, all of the necessary things that should be place in our activity area and who will facilitate all of the games on the actual day....huhuhuhu....
the other pool and arrival of other MQA's
It was quite sunny morning, as the other MQA's arrived, we're almost done with all of the necessary things to be used on our day activity....

our transporter....NSP
As you will see below most of us were busy...pero sila pala yun...kasi ako yun busy sa kakapicture...hehehehe...
MQA EET group....
It was almost 9am, if im not mistaken other MQA's arrived......of course they to go first on the registration area...for their meal stub....hehehehe...
the registration...
As all of arrived and assembled right beside on the pool's assembly area, we're our group was designated...the MQA outing started....we had a little talk with our bigboss and afterwards our gamemaster/host for the day....TON, started.....
the game master and the host....TON
It was almost noontime when our lunch was served.....we had different food choices and all of that taste good, we had fun of it, and they served actually more as we expected....hehehehe.....
our catered food...

our unlimited ice tea...
After all of our day activities that day......all of us just go on swim....swim...swim....and drink....alam nyo na yun...kita may tama yun isa...tulog eh....
swimming time....

jump shot.....

more more fun.....swimming all the way...^_^

don't ever sleep while on outing...
And here are our activities....1st activity was to create a banner made of rice sack, by using different colored pens, create and design on your own and of course you must present it to the judges together with a little bit group presentation..^_^

our 1st activity...make a group banner...
One of the much awaited activity, the MQA amazing race, a quite physical activity, because it requires running, and swimming, playing a basketball, running in a obstacle course and quite mental activity because there are some questions to be answered, look for some items and to sum it up....it was one heck of a fun and tiring activity....^_^

the MQA amazing race....
Our third activity, this was actually's Ton idea....all of the team is in one of one part of the pool, they have to swim towards the other side and there's an empty bottle where they have to squeeze up to a little drop of water, they have an option to remove all of their shirts just to pour all of the water in a 1.5 ltr plastic bottle...this activity was one a kind...sayang lang di ako kasali....^_^

water in a bottle....
One of the last activity....a rope game, were the rope should be go through the part of your body and pass up to last person in your line....this was one quite unique mental game and must do strategy...hehehe...^_^
our rope game...
It was almost 5pm when all of us were ready to go home....all of us we happy...and here is one of many souvenir group shots...of the MQA team...........say chase......^_^
The MQA Team
Of course....i wouldn't missed this shot.....our bosses.....playing funny shots....^_^
Our bosses...
And last but not the least....the MQA outing crew......one of our many funny poses....^_^
the MQA EET crew...including me!!!!!
Here is one of shot of Mount Sea Resort Hotel & Restaurant.......we had really fun and full of excitement stay on this resort....most of us were tired but happy...although it was quite a fast day to end.......and as my experience staying on this resort...i would really recommend it to all of you.....^_^
