After a grueling 6-7 hours of land trip via AC van, we finally reach the town of El Nido, the first class municipality and managed resource protected area in Palawan. It was around 1 in the afternoon when we reached Marina Garden Beach Resorts, where we booked our 3 days stay at El Nido, thru courtesy of my cotripper Rowel. Were composed of 11 individuals, and we booked for four rooms, from deluxe rooms and townside rooms called as coutry villa and jessica and wayside cottages called as native cottages.
Marina Garden Beach Resorts
All about Marina Garden......
Marina Garden is a small, family owned tourist inn that provides simple yet comfortable accomodations for us El Nido vacationers. Relax after a long day of island-hopping in they're County Villa rooms and Native Cottages.
The Country Villa' s air-conditioned, shabby-chic rooms nurture the travelers like us that looking for a comfort. This is 14-room villa conceptualized, categorize into Townside & Deluxe rooms and designed by Ruth Ordonez, carefully handpicked every detail of the villa, from its materials of curtain down to the colors of its tiles. It's results with a refreshing shabby chic room styles that most of the guest preferred for it's cozy charm style that has been a popular for couples, families, women, senior travelers and businessmen.
They're Native Cottages are fit for those seeking a more rustic Philippine experience and going back to basic beachfront bamboo cottages. Constructed with bamboo floors and woven bamboo walls, these native cottages are much like homes of many rural families throughout our country. This cottages are built on stilts, right on the beach, were guest could see the sand below through the cracks of bamboo floors. Staying on this rooms will make your stay a truly Filipino experience particularly for backpackers and budgeters.

Here is one of our many group pictures taken on Marina Garden Beach Resort, to summarize our stay, we really had fun, although for me, i could say that this is the highest accomodation that i have for most of my trips, and personally i had a great stay on this resort aside from arranging and accomodating our 2 days of island-hopping activities with Cadlao Tours (i'll be having separate entries for each of the island on our island hopping activities). It was really a remarkable experience in staying in El Nido, and i'll definitely go back. I really recommend this resort because all of the staffs are really accomodating and very courteous and helpful to us.

I was able to check out the rooms and facilities of Marina Garden Resort before and it seemed a good value for your money especially of you have other people to share the room with. But the beachfront rooms were the ones i liked the most. :)
